Kearfott High Grade INS Integration

Integration Integeration with Kearfott’s High Grade INS has completed with success. The overall distance travelled accuracy was below 0.1% using our Rowe Tech Dual Frequency 600khz/1200khz ADCP/DVL and Kearfott’s High Grade INS. This would ensure there would be drop outs from our ADCP when the depths got to shallow.

Rowe Technologies Inc. Sponsors San Diego City College Robosub Team

2018 Rowe Technologies Inc, being a smaller company decided to sponsor a smaller school. I had been apart of the Robosub program when I went to San Diego City College. This is a community college, the budget is smaller. Also the students are not as far along in acdemic knowledge, so its a new learning experience. But the expectation is these students will not be at this college long term, so new students join the program more often.

Kearfott INS Integration

Integration Today we work with Kearfott to integrate our DVL with a Kearfott INS. They came to our location and we worked out all the commands they expect to send to the DVL to configure the ADCP. With the command ENGWHN 1 our DVL will output a carrot > and will accept the same commands as a Navigator. This allowed the integration to go quickly and smoothly. We then ran into one problem.
